Isakson Chiropractic Health Center has been serving the people of Sioux Center and the surrounding areas since 1977. Our mission is to help individuals and families experience better health naturally. Although our doctors are trained in a wide variety of treatment options, they primarily utilize a gentle adjusting technique known as the Activator Method. Gerald E. Isakson
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Gerald Isakson was raised on a farm in southeastern South Dakota. He attended Sioux Falls College, and in 1974 he began his chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. After completing his chiropractic studies in 1977, Dr. Isakson began practicing in Orange City, Iowa. He relocated to Sioux Center in 1984, and has been practicing at the same location ever since. Dr. Gerald Isakson has enjoyed serving the Sioux County area for over 40 years. He focuses on utilizing gentle and effective treatment methods to decrease pain and maximize function in the spine and extremities. In his free time, Dr. Isakson enjoys bicycling, reading, traveling, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Kris M. Isakson
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Kris Isakson was raised in Sioux Center, Iowa. He considers himself fortunate to have received regular chiropractic treatment from his father since the earliest age. Dr. Isakson attended Unity Christian High School and went on to Dordt College, graduating in 2003 with a degree in Exercise Science. He worked in the sports and fitness field for two years before enrolling at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005. After completing an internship in Tempe, Arizona, he graduated with honors in February of 2009.
Dr. Isakson established his own practice in Sioux Falls, SD until he and his family answered a call to work and serve in Bangalore, India. He worked in a chiropractic and mission role there for one year. Dr. Isakson credits his time in India with gaining priceless experience in treating all types of unique and complex cases. After completing his work in India, Dr. Isakson took a position at a chiropractic clinic Murrieta, California, where he focused on utilizing the Activator Technique to treat pregnant women, children, and young athletes.
Together with his wife Becky, Dr. Isakson has four young children. They are excited to be back in Sioux County to serve and bring increased health to the community. For recreation Dr. Kris enjoys running, playing guitar, water skiing, and spending time with his family.
